Armstrong has been drawing for as long as memory serves, and began painting graffiti at nineteen. Through his twenties, he covered walls across Texas and California, learning firsthand what it takes to make work that holds up at scale, in public, and in front of a demanding audience. Since 2003, he has tattooed professionally, a craft that demands precision, permanence, and absolute trust from every client. Twenty-three years later, that discipline shapes every mural he paints.
In 2019, Armstrong returned to murals, and the work has not slowed since. His style is rooted in Japanese tattooing, with its bold linework, dynamic composition, and imagery built to command attention. It is enriched by influences far beyond tattoo design. The result is art with real presence, designed to stop people in their tracks and give them a reason to come back.
His murals live in both private and public spaces, whether the vision is a living room, a storefront, an office lobby, or a sprawling public wall, he approaches each project as a new challenge worth getting right.
